That sucks - I hate waiting!
Good news is that it's not as expensive as you thought.

A drag that you have to wait, but with the price being $200 less and such, that should take the sting out of it a little bit. That's a very cool looking bass BTW... I still need to get a 5 string
but until then, I've been doing what baimun just suggested.

well, like I said, I'm gonna get Richter to do the lease, but I'll make the payments.
he had to co-sign for my amp, cuz my credit sucks(student loan).
so I should have the new bass by July 15th, at the very latest.
then he'll give me a receipt for buying it off him, so it'll be insured under my name, not his.

you know what would be kind of cool? every month we each pitch in a couple of bucks into a kitty. then at the end of the next month we vote on a person to buy something for with the kitty. then we do the same thing the next month and just keep it going for only those that pitch in. dont know how good it would work, but it would be a nice way to have an ongoing kitty that would come your way one month for something you might need.

that's pretty neat idea.
I'd be in for that.

well, I went in yesterday, hoping to walk out with that 5-string bass I posted the other day.
and the credit lady said "no dice".
seems I have to complete my current lease with them before they will start another, being that this is my 1st lease with them.
damn.
so now Richter has his baritone, and I got the crappy 4-string tuned WAY down. no punch, and the strings are like spaghetti.
guess I'll wait till August 1st.
oh, and I quoted a price of $800. it was $600. so at least there was SOME good news.

OK, well, I didn't understand 80% of that.
But if you are unhappy - I am unhappy!
